New single : Over the rainbow is available on spotify, youtube and all digital platforms

After a first album, Avalon, entirely devoted to jazz and a second, Reflections patiently dedicated to contemporary music, the authentic artist, with multiple facets and various influences, back in Parisian studio, enchants and charms us with a magical and modern arrangement of the unmissable standard Over the rainbow.

An unwavering and warm classical sound, mixed with an improvisation with Bebop influences and Latin preponderances of which she is a pioneer ; a wonder of bright, expressive and free colors linked to a hunt of nostalgia ; a captivating rhythmic play and redoubtable instrumental mastery on the clarinet as well as on the bass clarinet. With Maëla, jazz is reimagined, cheered up, decomplexed, illuminated.

Over the Rainbow is a song composed by Harold Arlen following the lyrics of Edgar Yipsel Harburg which embodies the hope and dream of a prosperous and joyful world filled with love and peace. It was the famous actress Judy Garland who interpreted it in the legendary film, the Wizard of Oz.

The codes are updated and the supreme traditions are inevitably upset with this new single, fit for the 21st century.
